Product Safety

Food safety is the number one priority at United Source One (US1). Our Product Safety Program ensures that food supplies meet all domestic and foreign regulatory requirements and are 100 percent safe for consumers. 

We continually monitor and improve all of our facilities for the highest standards in food safety, storage, and handling. Our expert team is trained in providing for safety and quality at every step of the distribution chain. 

US1 goods are inspected by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to ensure that every product is safe, wholesome, and properly labeled. The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is responsible for providing this inspection. An inspector is present at our facilities daily to review and check all the products that are ready to be shipped.
